Sicily must be explored slowly and in detail. This is the philosophy with which I experience my island…
Born in Modica, I specialised in Classical Archeology at the University of Bari. In my research I mainly focused on the archeology of Sicily and Magna Grecia, on which I published several scientific articles. I was assistant professor at the chair of Archeology and History of Greek and Roman Art at the degree course in Tourism Sciences of the University of Calabria, working in several archaelogical excavations in Abruzzo, Apulia, Calabria and Sicily. I am currently working with the Government Department responsible for the Cultural Heritage of Siracusa.
What I love most about my job as tourist guide sharing with others my passion for my land and passing on what I know about Sicily and its culture. A lifelong passion for motorbiking, I would be delighted to guide you along the length and breadth of Sicily taking unusual cultural and food and wine paths.
