You will have the afternoon free for additional visits or for some shopping. Overnight.

Day 3: Wine & Food Tour to Chianti Region (FD day tour with lunch)

Breakfast. Today you will take a tour to the wine region of Chianti , visiting two small producers. On the way, you will sightseeing through the typical Chianti landscape, with its vineyards, olive trees, cypresses and pine trees, hills and woods.

We propose a real life experience in this tour giving you the opportunity to “explore” the lifestyle of this region listening to those who live it and establishing a personal relationship with the farmers . Visits to farms will not be just a quick stop for a glass of wine, but a real “intercultural experience“.

The tour starts with a visit to a small producer in the heart of Chianti, accompanied by a rich tasting of its products. You will have the opportunity to meet the owners, farmers, producers, etc. (all representing their own terroir), to visit their realities, estates, wineries, and taste three / four different wines (red, white and / or rosé, according to the farms we will visit). Among them, of course, you can try the original Chianti DOCG wines, and Super Tuscans. The wines will be accompanied by a snack/lunch of typical Tuscan products and extra-virgin olive oils. We normally plan for a nice stop in Greve (main village in the Chianti Classico area) and Montefioralle (a very well preserved medieval hamlet / castle).

Day 4: Departure

Breakfast. Check out and departure.
